My name is Bobbi Liston and I would like to tell you a bit about how our family business, KidRiders, got it's start and a little of what we are all about.
Our family has owned horses and competed at many levels for generations so it was only natural that this carry down to my grandaughter, Regan. As we began to teach my young grandaughter to ride, some of her friends began to show their love for horses as well and we were very excited to share our knowledge with them. Soon we began to get phone calls from others interested in learning to ride. I started a small riding lesson business in 2002. Together with my daughter, Melanie and grandaughter, Regan, we have created an organized riding facility, “KidRiders”, at my home which is located just north of I-30 off of Cooks lane.

At KidRiders, our students learn about horse and stable care, equine anatomy, vocabulary and history, sportsmanship and of course, how to ride our wonderful schooling horses.
Not only is horseback riding a lot of fun, it provides so many benefits for our children. Horses teach responsibility by depending on us for clean stables, feeding and grooming. We all want our children to have a strong self esteem and a high level of confidence in themselves. It has been my experience that gathering the courage to ride and control such a powerful animal as a horse is an excellent way to help achieve these qualities.

If your child has an interest in horses, and at least 8 years old, we would love the opportunity to share our knowledge with them by introducing them to the horse world in a fun and safe environment.
